Mission

CourtQuest is a student-led nonprofit on a mission to grow youth sports for kids in our community. We fundraise and accept equipment donations so every child gets the chance to play, learn, and grow — and through tournaments, donations, and sports camps we hope to build teamwork, confidence, and a little fun in every young athlete.

Vision

A future where every kid can pick up a paddle, a ball, or a racket — where sports are a shared connection across communities, not a cost that keeps kids out.

Our Story

CourtQuest started in 2025 as a group of students who wanted to run a better tournament than the one they'd just played in. Pickleball was our first focus, but the mission was always bigger than one sport: use the events we love to fund sports for kids who don't have the gear or the programs. Our first tournament raised $600+ for the Herndon Community Center's scholarship program — the start of turning entry fees into real access.

Impact

Since founding, CourtQuest has run multiple tournaments, brought together dozens of players, and raised thousands for local causes — including $600+ for the Herndon Community Center's scholarship program. Entry fees are our primary fundraiser and donations at events add to it, with every dollar going toward equipment and programs for communities that need them.

Powered by students

Every CourtQuest event runs on students — the organizers who plan the day, the referees who call each rally, and the desk crew who keep score. None of it is paid; all of it is theirs. To every volunteer who shows up early and stays late: you are CourtQuest.
